CATS for Cats returns July 14, 2012 to the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles for a special one-night celebrity musical theatre benefit. The show is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS reimagined from T.S. Eliot’s point of view - many of your favorite songs from the show, but with different staging and contextual framing!  And dancers in cat suits!

Fred Willard stars as T.S. Eliot and heads up a cast that includes Ioan Griffudd (from the Fantastic Four movies), Owain Yeoman (from your aunt’s favorite show The Mentalist), Todd Lowe (Terry Bellefleur on True Blood), Alicia Witt (from Cybill and that Mr. Holland’s Opus movie), Keith David (from Platoon and a bunch of other stuff), Bethany Joy Lenz (from One Tree Hill), Naturi Naughton (The Client List and The Playboy Club), Janel Parish (Pretty Little Liars), and dancers from So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With The Stars, and an ensemble of LA’s hardest-working dancers/singers.

All proceeds from the show benefit Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats (kittybungalow.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the number of feral and homeless cats on the streets of Los Angeles.
